What We Test For
Our fabrics are tested against the standard used for babies' and infants' clothing — the strictest tier for anything touching skin.
- Tested safe for direct skin contact
- Checked for harmful dyes and finishes
- Colorfast — it won't bleed onto your sheets
What's Never Inside
None of these are used in any Loomo product.
- No fiberglass — not in the liner, not anywhere
- No optical brighteners or fluorescent whiteners
- No chemical flame-retardant coatings
- No harsh chemical finishes
How To Look After It
Treat it well and it'll last you years.

A pillow protector keeps sweat and oils out of the fill and makes any pillow last longer.
Common Questions
Is there fiberglass in any Loomo pillow?
No. Not in the fill, not in the liner, not anywhere. Some cheap pillows use fiberglass as a flame barrier — we never have.
Will it smell when I open it?
No. Our pillows are filled with down or soft fibers, and neither gives off that chemical "new pillow" smell. There's nothing to air out — sleep on it the very first night.
Which pillow if I don't want feathers?
The Pineapple Cloud or the Marshmallow Puff. Both use soft down-alternative fiber instead of real feathers — no quills, no poking.
Are your pillows hypoallergenic?
Our fabrics are tested safe for skin contact. If you have a known feather or down allergy, choose the Pineapple Cloud or Marshmallow Puff — both use fiber fill, with no feathers or down at all.
What does "tested safe for skin contact" mean?
The fabric was tested against the standard used for babies' and infants' clothing — the strictest level for anything that touches skin. It covers harmful dyes, finishes, and colorfastness.
